The problem is if we launch a vehicle from Sriharikota to south pole orbits this vehicle have to come across the Srilanka that it makes the vehicle goes to the wrong route to make it correct this vehicle have to parabolic trajectory nearer to Srilanka for that case vehicle need to spend more fuel on here. if they send a rocket from Kulasekarapattinam to a south pole there is no need a parabolic curved trajectory so ISRO can save more fuels and money. This new pad is cost-efficient, fuel-efficient, landmass efficient and the increases space manoeuvring vehicles capacity.
